Fans of the global sneaker community were given exclusive access to the 500-piece limited model of the adidas Originals NMD R1 in Pitch Black via a global collaboration between adidas Originals, Rimowa, Porter, Oral B and SIGG. Primarily intended for friends and family members only, the pair of sneakers and the package were not available for sale. Limited to a badge of 100, all numbers were given away in cooperation with Snapchat during a large-scale social media scavenger hunt. This matte black set, which is highly coveted by fans around the globe consists of the legendary Rimowa carry-on luggage case, an Oral-B toothbrush, a SIGG drinking bottle, a Porter pouch and the NMD R1 Pitch Black. Resale prices for this set tend to be around € 5.000. The NMD R1 Pitch Black alone was traded for € 3,100 in September 2017.
